The cash prizes are true and guarantees for only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The typical jumbo or presentation checks will be given for formality purposes but the prize money itself will be transferred via the recipient's preferred form of payment including cash, check, or electronic transfer from Highway Industries. Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.
A screenshot showing money in a personal account is not ideal. A written escrow confirmation, sponsor agreement, attorney verification, or bank letter with sensitive information removed.
Yes. Competitors may bring an approved compatible controller. Tournament controllers will also be available.
Yes. The main competitive games like Tekken 8, mortal kombat, demon slayer 2, and some other games will have a jackpot prize per game.
1st day is $100
2nd day is $200
3rd day is $300 or the game itself.
Yes there will be designated parking spots at the office building. There will be individuals there to guide you as well. Also parking is free.
Yes parents are encouraged to attend. Especially for minor participants. The more the merrier.
Online competition will be conducted as a separate division unless otherwise stated in the official rules.

If you disconnect you will not be automatically booted from the competition. If we cannot reconnect you in a timely manner you will simply be rescheduled with another opponent who hasnt starting competing yet. Worst case, a different day.
The Registration fee was chosen as a base amount that in totality goes to equipment, setup, internet and taxed processing. There is no venue fee for our competitors. It will cover accommodations for in person combatants for food and beverage with your 2 guests. Online individuals that won't need food and beverage it covers connectivity costs and setup for the match.
24 hours before the tournament you can request a full refund with no issues or concerns. If you register and dont show up to your slot then you will not recieve a refund. For online competitors if we are unable to reach you within a 30min timeframe you will be considered a forfeit and will not be issued a refund. We will be contacting you the day before and the day of to make sure you are available for your slot.

IN-PERSON COMPETITORS
In-person players must arrive during the published check-in window. Players who fail to check in by the deadline may be removed from the bracket without a refund, except where the official refund policy states otherwise.
Competitors will receive their station assignments and match instructions through [Discord/platform/text alert system].
Eliminated competitors may continue enjoying designated event activities and spectator areas, subject to venue capacity.
The site will redirect you to start.gg where you finish the sign up process. A receipt, a QR code and bracket info will be sent to your email.
You will recieve a badge once you check into the location.

Online and In person competitions are a unique collaboration but is very doable.
The page advertises both online and offline participation but does not clearly explain how those competitors enter the same bracket.
Publish separate sections for:
In-person competitors: arrival, check-in, station assignment and venue schedule.
Online competitors: region restrictions, connection test, Ethernet requirement, Discord requirement, reporting procedure and lag-test policy.
Do not simply require “stable Wi-Fi.” Competitive online players should generally use a wired Ethernet connection.
Yes for participant attending in person recieve a plate and a beverage to drink along with their 2 guests. However there will be vendors available for any additional purchases.
